FIONA MACKENZIE
Fiona Mackenzie has over 40 years of skating experience. Starting with quad speed skating in the early 80’s, playing ice hockey for Australia in the 90’s, state inline and ice hockey through to 2006 and in 2010 started roller derby. Fiona is passionate about skating and says learning to Freestyle Park skate in my late 40's has been exhilarating.
SHAE MACKENZIE
Shae Mackenzie started skating in a junior roller derby team in 2010 and picked up her skates again in 2018 when she fell in love with freestyle park skating. Shae's favourite places to skate on the Gold Coast are Pimpama and Pizzey Skate Parks. She loves big drops ins and learning technical tricks, her all time favourite trick is airing over the spine both forward and fakie.
PAIGE HAMPSON
Paige Hampson started freestyle park skating in 2018 and enjoys gymnastic tricks such as hand stands and cartwheels on the ramps and in big bowls. Paige's favourite trick is her signature cartwheel, she is working to turn it into a no hands aerial trick. She loves going on road trips up and down the Coast checking out new skate parks, but loves her local skate park Pizzey, the most.
OUR QUALIFICATIONS
All our coaches have valid:
- Working With Children Blue Cards
- Completed Childcare First Aid HLTAID004 course, Including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
- Completed the Sport Australia Community Coaching General Principles course
- Completed the ASADA - Level 1, Level 2 & Ethical Decision Making courses: Completed the Play by the Rules - Child Protection course.
